Major Jeffrey Scot Vogel, first born son, kind brother, devoted husband, strong father of four daughters, and faithful disciple to God, passed away and joined God in Heaven peacefully on January 19th 2021. He is survived by wife, Claudia, his four daughters, Shantel, Kayla, Grace, and Aubrey, his mother Mary, his two brothers, Curt and Jay Vogel and his sister Lisa Vorse.

All are welcome to honor Major Vogel in a Mass of Christian Burial held at
St. Timothy Catholic Church in Chantilly, VA on Friday, January 29th 2021 at 1:30 p.m.  

Major Vogel will be laid to rest at Arlington National Cemetery on Thursday, April 15, 2021 at 3:00 p.m.

  1. I worked with Mr. Vogel in the Department of Aviation for about 2 years. He was a very kind, quiet man and I am so sorry to hear of his passing. I always admired how much he poured himself into his work. He would maintain a patient attitude even when faced with something challenging or frustrating. He didn’t speak very much but I enjoyed trying to get him to laugh– he did have a sense of humor. He will be sorely missed.
