It is with great sadness that the family of Desh Raj announces his passing on Sunday, August 15, 2021 at the age of 70. His battle with medical issues in recent years showed his courage in facing life’s challenges with much humor. He loved to laugh and his humor stayed strong until the end. The most important thing in life to Desh Raj was his family. He is survived by his wife Renu Raj, and his kids Pooja Kumar (daughter), Rahul Nooniwal (son) and five grandchildren Ahanaa, Avyanka, Saira, Inaaya and Saiansh.
Remembered lovingly for his unwavering devotion to family he will be mourned by those whose lives he so deeply touched. His steadfast presence, humor and genuine loving nature will be missed beyond measure. He was husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, friend, hero and now angel. May his beautiful soul forever rest in peace.
A funeral prayer will be held on Thursday, August 19, 2021, at 12pm followed by a cremation at 2:00pm at Funeral Choices of Chantilly. Due to current COVID restrictions all friends, family, and loved ones are welcome to attend virtually on Live Stream by streaming on the link above.
