Christopher "Chris" Triplett, 55, of Bunker Hill, WV, went to be with our Lord on September 4, 2020.
Born on December 23, 1964, Chris grew up in Falls Church, VA. He attended Westlawn, J.G. Whittier and Falls Church High before moving to Centreville, VA and graduating from Centreville H.S.
Chris spent most of his adult life as a long-distance truck driver and traveled all over the country. He really loved his last job transporting classic, rare and expensive vehicles, often posting pictures on his FaceBook page.
Chris loved classic, restored vehicles, fishing, camping and the beach. He was an avid Steelers fan. Nothing mattered more to him than spending time with family and friends.
Christian, soft-spoken, quiet, loving, caring, generous and sincere, Chris made friends easily, was loved by those who knew him and never missed an opportunity to help whenever needed. Chris was especially fond of children and animals and did all he could to help them. He gave all he had to others even in death as an organ donor.
Chris is preceeded in death by his mother, Josephine "Jo" Triplett, his dad, Nelson E. Triplett, an infant brother, John Triplett, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Chris is survived by his older brother and sister, Nelson "Joey" Triplett of Monrovia, CA, and Susan "Susie" McGowan of Manassas, VA, and a younger sister, Patricia Keener. He is also survived by his two loving daughters Christine Townsend of Bristow, VA and Jennifer Triplett of Manassas, VA, three grandchildren, Kasey, Paul and Logan. Chris also leaves behind three uncles, Gabriel Cavazos, Charles Triplett and Eddie Coleman, his lifelong friends Dave and Becky Bradford and a multitude of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
While Chris' soul is already in heaven, his earthly remains will be cremated. Memorial services to celebrate his life will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to a charity of choice. The family wishes to thank everyone for their kindness, prayers, and generous gifts.
