Armando Anthony Severo, 85, of Fairfax, Virginia passed away on August 14, 2020 after suffering a stroke. He was born in Buffalo, New York on June 18, 1935, the son of the late John and Marietta (nee Antonelli) Severo, loving brother to predeceased Norman Severo, Lucia (late William) Schimpf, and Edward Tambascia.
Armando was born to Italian immigrants and graduated from the University of Buffalo with a degree in Mathematics. An avid skier, he spent many happy days on the slopes in the States as well as Europe, and was the president of the Ski Club of Washington DC in 1972-1973. He was also passionate about softball, playing in several leagues throughout his life, and was selected as the MVP for the championship team in his last season with the Glory Days league. He spent much of his life travelling, appreciating food of all types, and took great pride in his family.
Armando is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Roberta Severo, and sons Anthony (Jeanette Wong) Severo and Marc (Kelly) Severo and future granddaughter.
